Chrysler Building is the famous skyscraper in New York City located in the East side of Manhattan. This Art Deco style building was designed by Willian Van Alen in 1930. The building is built with white and dark gray bricks, enhancing the window rows. It doesn’t have any restaurant or observation area except for its lavish lobby. Walter P. Chrysler couldn’t compete with his bigger rivals like Ford and General Motors so he decided to beat them on the skyline thus creating this magnificent building. After a year, the “tallest building” title was overtaken by Empire State building.
