Education is nearly inaccessible to many young North Koreans. In this country, the students are required to pay for everything but the teacher. Many parents can’t afford education for their children. They put them off school thanks to grinding poverty. There is no provision for scholarships or any educational support to brilliant or poor students. North Korea has a pay-and-learn education system. Those who pay call the tune. Those who don’t, stay away from school.
