The most historic place in United States which is haunted is White House. The executive mansion abounds many ghost who have been witnessed by some of the most rational people of the world. The oldest ghost which is present at the white house is Lady Abigail Adams, wife of the second president and first lady to reside in this mansion. Many have witnessed a spirit of a transparent lady wearing a mob cap and carrying a laundry basket. It is believed it is the ghost of Abigail Adam. Another ghost is of dolly Madison. She haunts the garden of White House and chases away the workmen from there. Presence of ghost of two other presidents, President Harrison and President Andrew Jackson is thought to be present too in White House. President Harrison is said to be heard rummaging around in the attic of the White House, looking for who knows what. President Andrew Jackson is thought to haunt his White House bedroom. The most witnessed ghost is of the former president Abraham Lincoln. He is the most restless spirit in there usually seen in deep thought, standing by the window or laying on bed. Winston Churchill once got face to face with Abraham Lincoln while standing naked after coming out of shower. All the high ranking officials who had spent their time at the White House had confessed creepy activities going on around them during their stay at the mansion.
